About Us

Goma Foundation is a registered non-profit company with an objective to make a difference in the lives of underprivileged children in South Africa.

Our objective is to make a difference by engaging in public benefit activities in communities around South Africa, we are a registered PBO (Public Benefit Organisation) with SARS in terms of section 18A of the Income Tax Act 58 of 1962 as amended.

Our Story

Goma Foundation was founded in 2016 by the trio namely; Moshibudi Molepo, Charmaine Manaka, and Malesela Letoala. The three founders come from different backgrounds and they have encountered different challenges in their upbringing which led to them being the strong and driven women and man they are today.

Despite their different backgrounds, they had one thing in common which was ‘botho’ (humanity in Northern Sotho) instilled in them by their parents. It was the same ‘botho’ that drove them to giving birth to this foundation and making a difference in the lives of the less fortunate.

Through this foundation we contribute towards community development and children empowerment. We invest in communities located in Limpopo and Gauteng Province, South Africa.
